My name is Camryn and I am a biology major at Harris Stowe State University. I chose to attend an HBCU because they offered an avenue, via coursework, that allowed me to further explore and develop my skills and talents relating to health care. I have always understood the value of a good education. However, I do worry about coming up with the funds necessary to stay enrolled each semester and paying for books. Upon graduation, I plan to begin a career as a Healthcare Communications Specialist/Health Educator. I look forward to teaching people about behaviors that promote wellness. I need assistance with paying for my books this semester. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
