Pursuing higher education is a major achievement, but for many students, it also comes with significant financial challenges. Unexpected costs for dorm essentials, books, school supplies, food, and personal care items can create stress before classes even begin.
That’s why HenRose Cares proudly hosts our 6th Annual College Send-Off, our signature event designed to help students start their college or trade school journey with confidence and support. Save the date! This event will take place on July 11, 2026 (students must be present).
What the College Send-Off Provides
Through the College Send Off, students receive:
- Essential dorm and school supplies
- Hygiene and personal care items
- Gift cards and everyday necessities
- Encouragement and support from community volunteers
- Career Corner, where students connect 1 on 1 with professionals who share their educational and career journeys
This event helps students see firsthand that their dreams are attainable because someone standing in front of them has walked that same path.
